Eligibility

VIP Access properties have an excellent guest experience and offer strength score that reflects consistent delivery of outstanding service. There are no loyalty fees to join.


Your commitment

You must be ready to provide our One Key members with qualifying Members-Only Deals or an exclusive in-stay perk—such as free breakfast, waived parking fees or on-property credits—for Silver tier and above members. In addition, provide Silver tier and above members with special recognition at check-in and complimentary WiFi. For our Gold and Platinum members, we ask that you also provide extras such as room upgrades, early check-in and late checkout when available.

Frequently asked questions


To qualify for VIP Access, a partner needs to have excellent guest experience and offer strength scores, and also meet certain operational requirements.

VIP Access is available on Expedia, Hotels.com, Orbitz and ebookers. In addition, VIP Access is also available to United Airlines loyalty members and Chase United card members.

You can select a perk from one of the following categories: Food & Drink, Parking & Transportation and Activities & Entertainment. Examples of perks include free parking, spa credit and free breakfast. A complete list of perk options will be provided during enrolment. Your perk must be exclusive to VIP Access and meet minimum value thresholds.

Members-Only Deals are one of the two options available when joining VIP Access. When choosing a Members-Only Deal as your qualifying benefit to join, the required discount rates for each member tier are:

  • 10% discount for Blue members
  • 15% discount for Silver members
  • 20% discount for Gold and Platinum members 

You must apply the Members-Only Deals to all rooms and rates, use it in addition to current and future promotions, and keep it active with no end date.

It is expected that you continue to deliver the exceptional traveller experience that qualified you for the programme initially. VIP Access properties should maintain the minimum required guest experience and offer strength score throughout the year. VIP Access training is available at any time in Partner Central. Navigate to the VIP Access page within the ‘Guest relations’ section of Partner Central. On the right-hand side, the VIP Access training deck is available as well as several VIP Access help articles. VIP Access partners get benefits that target and attract more rewards members, such as bonus OneKeyCash for Silver, Gold or Platinum members whenever they stay at their property. These rewards members book more frequently and spend more than non-members.⁵
