Frequently asked questions

Learn how to get started with one API integration. From discovery to booking, Rapid Activities API brings experiences to travelers at every step of the journey.

Rapid Activities API enables B2B partners to build fully customized, end-to-end activities shopping and booking experiences on top of Expedia Group’s globally curated inventory — now enhanced by Tiqets’ deep strength in attractions and museums.

Partners can use one scalable integration to access relevant activities, structured metadata, rich content, pricing and availability, booking, voucher delivery, and supported post-booking capabilities while keeping control of their front-end experience and merchandising.

Rapid Activities API is designed for B2B demand partners, including Expedia Group partners already using Rapid Lodging API who currently source activities from other providers, as well as partners that want to add activities but have not yet integrated with an activities supplier.

With Tiqets now part of Expedia Group, Rapid Activities API brings the best of both businesses together in one integration built for the future. Partners benefit from Tiqets’ expertise in attractions, museums, distribution, curation, and merchandising with Expedia Group’s B2B platform, direct supply, technology, and partner support, all through one actively supported integration backed by continued investment.

Rapid Activities API is currently in beta with select partners. Our plan is to make the product available more broadly in 2027. In the meantime, partners interested in participating in the early-adopter program can join the waitlist and review the Rapid Activities API technical documentation.

Access is gated to selected partners. We will qualify candidates and confirm capabilities during the sales process.

Rapid Activities API is designed around three differentiators:

Highly relevant inventory

Use demand signals, traveler trends, supplier relationships, and quality processes to access high-demand iconic and emerging experiences through one connection. Confirmation required for any exclusive or semi-exclusive inventory examples.

Curation and personalization at scale

Use structured metadata, product grouping, meaningful tags, AI-enriched content, high-quality imagery, and localization to help travelers discover the right experiences faster.

Enterprise-grade technology and support

Build an end-to-end activities experience using scalable APIs, dedicated onboarding and account support, and the Rapid technology that partners already know from lodging.

Every trip is different, and so is every traveler. What travelers want to do depends on where they’re going and what they’re seeking for that trip experience. That’s where Rapid Activities API comes in, with structured metadata and enriched content to help partners group, filter, rank, surface and personalize activities based on destination, interests, category, traveler type, duration, price, and tags like family-friendly, outdoor, or guided tour.

Activities API builds on the Rapid platform and technology that partners already know from lodging, while adding activities-specific inventory, content, metadata, and more capabilities to power fully customized, end-to-end activities shopping and booking experiences.

The available mix can include attractions, museums, tours and sightseeing, city tours, theme parks, shows, food and drink, sports, water activities, excursions, exhibitions, and other experiences. The exact inventory will be discussed during the sales process.

Use the waitlist form above to share your details and a member of the team will follow up if there is a potential fit for the early adopter program. If you are already an Expedia Group partner, you can also connect directly with your Account Manager to learn more.
